For more than twenty years, the author has been collecting the quotes he liked most of the great Zen masters. This book is a wonderful compendium of spiritual wisdom, the essence of Zen through a selection of the best phrases and aphorisms.
The masters appear in chronological order, and comprise a temporal extension, dating from about the 5th century B.C. to this day.
